Saturday (20th of May): HIKING IN THE CHAMONIX VALLEY
We will walk in the valley of Chamonix, well known for its stunning natural surroundings. Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in France, stands at the edge of this town. Chamonix offers awesome views of the mountains. You will walk through the alpine forests in the valley and enjoy the views of mountains and peaks. The trail will take you through the sources of river Arveyron to Le Chapeau for picturesque views. The path has lovely wooden bridges over the streams that criss-cross the way.

Sunday (21st of May): HIKING TO THE GLACIER MER DE GLACE
This is one of the most popular hikes on the Mont Blanc massif in the French Alps. It will take you to the largest glacier in France, the Mer de Glace, also considered as one of the biggest attractions of Chamonix. You will have the opportunity to catch a glimpse of the splendid view of the glacier from the top of a belvedere. The trail passes through a terrain that is initially forested but becomes rockier and more interesting as we keep walking. You can also expect some great photo opportunities on the way and at the top.

21:00 hrs: Pick-up of participants in Leuven
22:45 hrs: Pick-up of participants in Brussel Noord
00:05 hrs: Pick-up of participants in Liege
Saturday (20th of May)
07:30 hrs: Break to freshen up and for toilets
11:30 hrs: Arrival at the starting point of the hike
16:00 hrs: End of hike and boarding of bus
16:45 hrs: Arrival in Hotel at Chamonix and check-in
17:30 hrs onwards: free time to rest or to explore the city of Chamonix by yourself
Sunday (21st of May)
09:30 hrs: Finish breakfast and check-out of hotel.
10:00 hrs: Arrival at the start-point of the hike.
18:00 hrs: End of hike and boarding of bus
18:30 hrs: Bus starts for return journey to Belgium
Monday (22nd of May)
05:30 hrs: Arrival in Liege
07:00 hrs: Arrival in Brussel Noord
