Day Trip Hiking in French Ardennes, France

Fans of greenery will find exactly what they are looking for in the French Ardennes. Our hike will take you through a scenic trail in the Meuse valley of France. You will discover the beautiful landscapes of the valley consisting of green forests and gently meandering rivers. On the way we will stop by some viewpoints to enjoy the vistas and to take pictures. The hike starts from Montherme, a small town attractively positioned inside a broad meander of the river Meuse. At the beginning of the hike you will walk to beautiful viewpoints above the town to enjoy the panorama before descending to the river La Meuse flowing below. Soon after, the trail will take you to the forests and hills with viewpoints on the way. This is a loop walk that will bring us back to Montherme at the end.
